Compliance Monitoring

I am a reporting tool contact for a University unit. While reviewing my status report(s) online, I noticed there are some employees working in my unit(s) who do not appear on my report. Does this mean they do not need to complete the training?

Not necessarily. Due to the cutoff for determining our employee training population, it is possible an employee being paid by another unit over the summer months may not appear on your report, even though they are now working in your unit. To determine if they need to train, please use the "UIN Search" feature on the reporting tool to find their individual training record. You will need to enter the nine-digit UIN without any spaces or hyphens to conduct the search. If they do not appear after the search, please call the University Ethics and Compliance Office at: 866-758-2146 so we can assist you in identifying the training requirements for this particular individual.
