Seasonal, Temporary and Medical Resident Ethics Act Training
Employees who work in an hourly or more temporary capacity or as a medical resident are required to complete an annual training program that is slightly different from the course completed by more permanent employee classifications. This two-part program includes Ethics Act training and Harassment and Discrimination training. The training is available year-round (January 1 through December 31, though units may impose stricter deadlines for compliance) at:
Seasonal, Temporary and Medical Resident Ethics Act Training
Seasonal and Temporary population employees should log in using their Netid and Password. This is typically what an employee would use to log in to their computer each day. If you have difficulty logging in, please contact your respective university help desk. University Ethics and Compliance Office staff do not have the ability to change your password or access this information.

Offline Training
An offline version of the training can be provided to those employees who do not have access to a computer or who are unable to complete the online version of the training. The completed signature page must then be sent to the University Ethics and Compliance Office via US Postal Mail. There is no campus mail to and from the UIS campus, so it is pertinent the documents be placed in US Mail to guarantee their delivery. The offline training can be accessed at: 2024 Seasonal, Temporary and Medical Resident Offline Ethics Training and Harassment and Discrimination Prevention Training.
